- Designs, develops, programs, and supports data integrations among the various enterprise County applications
- Provides oversight and management for large projects
- Utilizes various software to perform complex analysis of data among applications
- Works closely with IT staff and Departments to understand their business needs and incorporate solutions to stakeholders based on corresponding data analysis
- Determines changes in physical database by studying project requirements, identifying database characteristics, such as location, amount of space, and access method
- Ensures data integrity, data security, and performance of production databases via ongoing database support and maintenance
- Setup, manage, and maintain database and reporting services security
- Analyzes and reviews existing systems and program logic to create and maintain product documentation
- Analyzes database processes and recommends process modification strategies for enhancing effectiveness and efficiency
- Creates and maintains customized database reports and performs data analysis
- Responds to work orders for maintenance and enhancement requests, and supports users in assigned software programs
- Provides technical assistance and training to users both external and internal
- Database and Business Intelligence Software such as SQL Server 2008 or higher, SQL Management Studio, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Microsoft Access, SAP Crystal Reports, Microsoft Visio
- Application Programming languages such as Visual Studio, VB Script, SQL
- Database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Server-client computing and relational database environments
- Security guidelines and procedures
- Database management

- Network design and administration
- Project Management principles, techniques, and best practices
- Configuring and supporting database servers
