Our Approach.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to lead strategic initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency, reducing waste, optimizing systems, and driving process innovation. This role will involve analyzing complex processes, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing solutions that enhance productivity, quality, and safety across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage large-scale industrial engineering projects from concept through execution.
  • Analyze existing production and business processes using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Be a business partner with operations leader and oversee implementation of shop floor improvement projects and document progress.
  • Design and optimize workflows, production layouts, and material handling systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop time standards, labor models, and capacity analysis for production planning.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs to track productivity, performance, and quality improvements.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for process inefficiencies issues using tools like 8D, FMEA, and Six Sigma.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, quality, supply chain) to implement best practices.
  • Use simulation software and data analysis tools to model systems and forecast outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping).
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering roles.
  • Experience with High Mix / Low Volume Batch Build processes preferred.
  • Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Power BI, etc.).
  • Experience with AutoCAD, simulation software (e.g., FlexSim, Arena), or ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification.
The base salary range for this role is $87,600 to $131,300. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.This job description describes the general nature and level of work expected of a person assigned to this position.
