- Lead and manage large-scale industrial engineering projects from concept through execution.
- Analyze existing production and business processes using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Be a business partner with operations leader and oversee implementation of shop floor improvement projects and document progress.
- Design and optimize workflows, production layouts, and material handling systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop time standards, labor models, and capacity analysis for production planning.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to track productivity, performance, and quality improvements.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for process inefficiencies issues using tools like 8D, FMEA, and Six Sigma.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, quality, supply chain) to implement best practices.
- Use simulation software and data analysis tools to model systems and forecast outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping).
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering roles.
- Experience with High Mix / Low Volume Batch Build processes preferred.
- Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience with AutoCAD, simulation software (e.g., FlexSim, Arena), or ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- Master’s degree.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification.
