With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor electroplating and surface finishing equipment to apply metal coatings to parts according to specifications.Prepare workpieces for plating by cleaning, masking, or fixturing components as required.Measure, mix, and maintain plating solutions and chemical baths, ensuring proper concentrations and compliance with safety standards.Inspect plated components using precision measurement tools and visual inspection methods to verify thickness, adhesion, and finish quality.Record process data, including bath maintenance, plating times, and inspection results, with accuracy and attention to detail.Perform preventative maintenance on plating tanks, racks, and related equipment to ensure optimal operation.Follow strict safety and environmental procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials and waste disposal.Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet production schedules and resolve any process issues.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in plating, surface finishing, or related manufacturing processes preferred.2+ years of experience in plating, surface finishing, or chemical processing.Knowledge of plating processes (e.g., nickel, chrome, anodizing, or other coatings) and associated equipment.Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and safety guidelines.Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency.Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in a production environment with exposure to chemicals.Commitment to workplace safety and environmental compliance.What We Offer:Competitive hourly wage.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the company.A supportive and inclusive workplace culture.The chance to contribute to a company that values precision, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.At Legacy Talent Search, we are more than just a staffing agency.
