Start Date: ASAP 9/8/25We are seeking a Production Plating Technician for a temp-to-hire position with our client, a Company specializing in Anodizing and Specialty Coatings, located in Wood Village, Oregon.
The Production Plating Technician is responsible for conducting select metal plating processes for parts and assists the racking department in stripping aluminum racks/accessories.As a Production Plating Technician you will be responsible for:
- Ensures that the quality and safety processes and methods for anodize/chromate and passivation are
- Recommends replacement of production equipment as result of ongoing maintenance initiatives.
- Maintains safety and good housekeeping standards as required by law and company policy.
- Communicates effectively with the Plater III about work progress, concerns, and challenges or issues that arise.
- Alerts Plater III of any unusual or strong chemical smells immediately.
- Provides assistance to other departments when requested by a supervisor.
- Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Respectfully takes direction from supervisor.
- Performs other duties and functions as necessary or as assigned.
- No experience necessary (Paid training provided)
- Attention to detail
- Able to take direction and be coachable
- Ability to do basic math-Adding, subtracting etc
- Regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Required to stand; use hands, handle and reach with hands and arms.
