As a SLED Account Executive, you will own a portfolio of State and Local Government accounts across your territory. Your mission will be to expand revenue, ensure customer success, and build long-term strategic partnerships. You'll collaborate with solution engineers, business development reps, and customer success managers to design winning sales strategies, close complex contracts, and accelerate adoption of our industry-leading learning platform.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through close for SLED accounts.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite and senior-level executives.
  • Identify customer strategies, skills gaps, and technology adoption needs to align our solutions.
  • Lead customer education on the value of our SaaS learning platform and create success roadmaps.
  • Develop account strategies to expand existing relationships while prospecting for new business opportunities.
  • Forecast revenue, manage pipeline, and drive predictable business growth.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience (3+ with an advanced degree), ideally in SaaS or technology solutions.
  • Proven success selling into State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts.
  • Expertise in sales methodologies such as Solution Selling, Challenger, Value Selling, or Strategic Selling.
  • Strong skills in pipeline management, business development, and closing complex multi-year contracts.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% (encouraged, not required).
