Works closely with Area Managers, Region Engineers, and Geopier licensee teams to provide project specific technical guidance and direction in support of project feasibility and project bidding efforts for Geopier design build solutions
Collaborate with Area Managers to perform engineering analyses and prepare design reviews
Prepares or reviews engineering calculations and establishes engineering direction on projects with limited supervision
Support Design Center review team by performing slope stability and other geotechnical analyses to prepare RAP designs
Assist in troubleshooting construction challenges and design issues
Review and approve Rammed Aggregate Pier (RAP) and other system designs
Prepare and deliver technical presentations at internal and external meetings and workshops
What You'll Need
Minimum 2 years' experience in a geotechnical/structural engineering field
Possess a strong understanding of soil mechanics and structural loading conditions
Experience reading and interpreting project documents and drawings.
Strong interpersonal skills - articulate communicator, adept in both electronic and verbal communications, professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to plan, prioritize and drive issues, tasks and deliverables from concept to closure
Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
Knowledge of computer systems and software, including AutoCAD, Microsoft applications, other geotechnical software including, SLIDE, SLOPE-W, Settle 3D
