PAY RATE: Up to $90/hourWe are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.Job Details:Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)Clearance: Active Secret ClearanceShift: 4/10 – A ShiftIndustry: Aerospace / Defense / AviationBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna)Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplierOpenings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S.Qualifying Questions:Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?Summary:Collaborate to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handlingDrive adoption of automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing software to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve qualityCreate and analyze 3D model data to optimize manufacturing processes and digital work instructionsUtilize knowledge of materials and automated processes to define operation procedures and build sequences for operational excellenceEvaluate equipment and tool performance, including IoT devices, and initiate corrective actions to resolve deficienciesEnsure process reliability through continuous monitoring and improvementLeverage factory data to develop statistical process control methods and integrate reporting and analytics for continuous improvementProvide input to product design to optimize equipment utilization and manufacturing techniquesRequirements:Active Secret Clearance with investigation within the last 5 years (or Continuous Evaluation enrollment) requiredBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or related field) required.Experience working cross-functionally in manufacturing environments with disciplines such as industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance, or production planningKnowledge of manufacturing processes including fabrication, assembly, machining, and electrical work across multiple disciplines (composites, metallics, machining, bonded assemblies, installations)Background in lean manufacturing and process improvement initiativesExperience with MRP systems, SAP, or other Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)Program Special Access (P29) required to startExperience with “first time build” or first-time product development preferredProficiency in CATIA V5Experience in a manufacturing environment involving Sub-Systems Installation (with one or more of the above-mentioned disciplines)Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).About Us:The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
