A global supplier is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to be the point of contact for their Houston office. The HR Generalist will be responsible for all aspects of human resources including employee relations, recruitment, payroll, and compliance.Salary + Additional Benefits:

Location: NW Houston, TX Type of Position: Direct HireResponsibilities:
  • Act as the primary HR contact in the Houston office, addressing employee inquiries, concerns, and support needs.
  • Partner with managers to define job requirements, participate in interviews, and oversee onboarding processes.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. employment laws, labor regulations, and company HR policies.
  • Manage personnel files, payroll coordination, and HR documentation in accordance with corporate and local standards.
  • Collaborate with the Group Director to assess workforce needs and align talent strategies with business growth.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline to support ongoing U.S. expansion and future staffing requirements.
  • Lead employee engagement, performance management, and training programs that foster professional growth.
  • Implement career development and succession planning initiatives for key technical and operational roles.
  • Promote a workplace culture centered on innovation, integrity, and excellence.
  • Support recruiting efforts to attract qualified candidates for both manufacturing and support positions.
  • Provide consistent HR reporting to global headquarters, including headcount, turnover, hiring progress, and training updates.
  • Maintain effective communication with the global HR team to ensure alignment on policies and initiatives.
  • Deliver professional development opportunities in line with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor and report HR metrics regularly to drive workforce planning and decision-making.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of full cycle Human Resources experience within an industrial industry
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to implement corporate HR policies at a local entity level.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software systems.
