The HRBP will serve as a trusted advisor to program leadership and employees, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, contract-specific requirements, and organizational policies. This role is critical in driving workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance in a government contracting environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with program leadership to align HR strategies with contract objectives and mission needs.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in compliance with federal and contract-specific labor regulations.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies in alignment with OFCCP and EEO requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with government contract labor categories, Service Contract Act (SCA) and other relevant federal guidelines.
  • Manage HR metrics and reporting to contract leadership and corporate HR.
  • Facilitate training, career development, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Support security clearance processes in partnership with Facility Security Officers (FSO), when applicable.
  • Advise management on compensation and benefits matters within the constraints of contract guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience , with at least 2 years supporting a government contract or federal agency.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, labor standards, and HR compliance in the federal contracting space.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Service Contract Act (SCA) (preferred).
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification strongly desired.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
