
Application Support Engineer

- Drive production management activities such as incident change and problem management as well as lead various teams for metrics-based tracking, planning, risk & mitigation, and certification support for multiple top clients
- Implement plan reviews, change approvals in the interest of change success and hygiene along with improving resiliency and availability for your platforms
- Manage multiple production assurance teams and own production run books, change registers, automations, improvements, and perform impact/root cause analysis for production issues
- Serve as the technical mentor and lead to other team members
- 3+ years of experience in Unix, Oracle, Windows, scheduling tools and Java
- 3+ years of experience in Apache, Web Sphere Application Server (Traditional, Liberty), Web Logic, Tomcat, Java, J2EE, ASP.Net, JBoss, Liberty, IBM HTTP Server, Microsoft IIS, Open shift, PCF, Azure
- 3+ years of experience in production management, application, or platform monitoring, on call schedule
- 1+ year of experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace and Moog Soft
- 1+ years of experience with incident/change/problem management and ticketing tools like Service Now, Remedy, CA Service Desk
- 1+ years of experience using versioning control tools like MS Visual Source Safe (VSS), Git, bitbucket
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong articulation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and client interfacing skills
- Experience and desire to work in a Global Delivery environment
