- Travel up to 90 percent, primarily within the Midwest and Great Lakes regions, with occasional international assignments
- Install, troubleshoot, program, and maintain automated systems both on-site and remotely
- Train customer personnel on system operation, recovery, and maintenance
- Document service activities accurately and maintain necessary records and backups
- Support system upgrades, retrofits, internal builds, and integration projects
- Respond to service requests, assist with spare parts orders, and contribute to proposal development as needed
- Report customer concerns, delays, and site barriers to the Field Support Manager
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify quality or cost improvement opportunities
- Prioritize time effectively to meet service expectations and deadlines
- Complete technical training and share knowledge with peers
- Promote and follow all safety requirements at customer sites and within Acieta
- Represent Acieta with professionalism, urgency, and a customer-first mindset
- Perform other duties aligned with qualifications and training

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, robotics, or a related technical field
- OR equivalent hands-on experience in automation, robotics, or controls
- Typically two to four years of experience working with PLCs, HMIs, motion control, robotics, or similar systems
- Experience with FANUC robot programming
- Familiarity with KUKA, ABB, Kawasaki, or Motoman also valued
- Vision system integration (such as Cognex or Keyence)
- Robotic cell recovery and teach pendant usage
- Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI experience preferred
- Siemens, Omron, or Mitsubishi experience also beneficial
- Experience with motion, vision, and peripheral device integration
- Ability to read and mark up electrical schematics
- Familiarity with pneumatic, hydraulic, and motor control systems
- Comfortable working safely with 480V systems
- Skilled in using voltmeters, test tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong communication and customer-facing professionalism
- Effective in fast-paced, self-directed field environments
- Resourceful problem-solver with clear technical communication
- Team-oriented and willing to support peers across departments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, or reliable transportation
- Valid passport or ability to obtain one for occasional international travel
- Willingness to travel up to 90 percent, including site stays ranging from one day to sixty days or more
- Frequent use of hands to handle tools, parts, and equipment
- Regular standing, sitting, reaching, walking, and verbal communication
- Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Routine carrying of a tool bag to workstations
- Frequent work on manufacturing floors near moving equipment and electrical systems
- Loud environments requiring use of PPE
- Extended time on ladders, in tight spaces, or performing physical tasks
