Schedule: Flexible (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM) with overtime as needed

Pay Rate: $68/HourPosition SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing operations at a long-term care facility in Flagstaff, AZ. The DON will serve as the senior nursing leader, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective management of nursing staff. This role requires a collaborative leader who fosters professional growth, drives performance improvement, and maintains a positive environment for both staff and residents.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure safe, high-quality careManage daily nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and trainingEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standardsCollaborate with facility leadership and interdisciplinary teams on resident care plans and facility needsOversee quality assurance and performance improvement initiativesLead, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote professional development and retentionManage the nursing budget and allocate resources effectivelyAct as a liaison during inspections, audits, and administrative meetingsQualificationsActive and valid RN license in the State of ArizonaBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferredMinimum 3 years of direct patient care experience and at least 1 year in a supervisory rolePrior long-term care nursing experience is requiredStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
