Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (Flexible schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:30 AM–4:30 PM)
Assignment Type: Contract, On-Site
Duration: Minimum of 3 months with possible extensionAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Healthcare Administrator / Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee nursing operations at new state-run long-term care facility dedicated to providing exceptional care to our state’s veterans. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your leadership and clinical expertise in a highly respected organization.ResponsibilitiesDirect and supervise all nursing services and clinical operations.Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs.Manage staffing plans, scheduling, and staff development initiatives.Foster a culture of patient-centered care and professional growth among staff.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality resident care.Monitor clinical outcomes and lead improvement initiatives.RequirementsActive RN license in the State of Arizona (required).Minimum of Associate’s Degree in Nursing; BSN or higher preferred.Proven experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) – this is mandatory.Previous leadership experience as a DON, ADON or equivalent role.Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance for skilled nursing facilities.Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills.Position DetailsHours/Week: 40Shift: Day, no weekendsStart Date: As soon as credentialedProjected End Date: At least 3 months from start (extension possible)Why Join Us?
