Join our team and be one of the People Who Make it Happen!SummaryThe Environmental Site Investigation & Remediation Senior Leader is fully proficient at leading and managing complex environmental projects with a focus on environmental assessment, investigation, and remediation projects; planning and managing environmental data collection efforts; evaluating and interpreting environmental data; and understanding relevant State and Federal environmental regulations. The Environmental Site Investigation & Remediation Senior Leader works with a high level of autonomy. They possess the skills and ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, and meeting strict deadlines. They will lead and direct technical teams. The person in this position is expected to exercise a strong work ethic, a desire to learn new concepts, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. This role includes task and project management including budgeting and financial project management, adherence to schedule, client satisfaction, and quality. Technical Expertise
  • Plan, execute, and manage a variety of environmental due diligence, site investigation, and remediation projects.
  • Serve as a technical leader for clients and project staff, providing guidance on all phases of environmental due diligence through remediation efforts including planning, permitting, investigation, design, cleanup, and long-term monitoring.
  • Plan and manage field explorations and environmental data collection efforts. Field explorations may include drilling and test pitting to collect soil samples, and monitoring well installation and collection of groundwater samples.
  • Key role in developing and supporting client relations, business development activities, and identifying new project opportunities.
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Independently scope, plan, and manage a variety of environmental projects with minimal oversight.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, and proposals; and oversee and review documents prepared by project teams.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring profitability and adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Independently interacts with clients, legal counsel, and regulatory agencies to meet project and client goals.
  • Support the company’s accounts receivable management and collection process.
  • Achieve project financial metrics and promote cross-selling and firm-wide business goals.

  • Lead the development and implementation of environmental due diligence and site investigations, remedial investigations, and cleanup actions on suspected or known contaminated sites.
  • Lead the development of work plans, data evaluation, remediation approaches, removal action work plans, and remediation design plans.

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
  • 10+ years preferred of direct environmental consulting or related professional experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Licensed professional Geologist, Hydrogeologist, or Engineer.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required to support essential business activities.
