We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering & Facilities Manager to lead both engineering and facilities operations in a fast-paced automotive production environment. This dual-capacity role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, managing maintenance and facility systems, and driving operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Manufacturing Engineering:Lead a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.Develop and implement manufacturing strategies, processes, and procedures to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality.Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to integrate new products and technologies.Assess manufacturing processes and implement improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.Monitor metrics like yield, cycle time, scrap rates, and equipment uptime to identify trends and opportunities.Coordinate with equipment suppliers for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of machinery.Facilities and Maintenance Management:Lead maintenance and facilities teams, providing guidance and performance feedback.Oversee maintenance and repair of production equipment and building systems to minimize downtime.Develop preventive maintenance programs for equipment, utilities, HVAC, lighting, and infrastructure.Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.Manage facility projects including expansions, renovations, and equipment installations.Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for efficient facility operations.Monitor facility performance and implement strategies for energy efficiency, sustainability, and reliability.Maintain emergency preparedness plans and ensure regular reviews.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s preferred).Minimum 8 years of experience leading manufacturing engineering and/or maintenance/facilities teams, preferably in automotive.Experience with powertrain and electric vehicle products is a plus.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies for automotive production.Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization.Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Familiarity with quality standards, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols.Proficient in CAD, manufacturing software, and facilities management systems.Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Benefits:401(k) and 401(k) matchingHealth, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings and flexible spending accountsPaid time offLife insuranceEmployee assistance programThis role is in-person.Apply today to lead engineering and facilities operations in a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment.
