This role oversees engineering teams, manages multiple concurrent projects, and ensures compliance with performance standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The manager will drive innovation in RF design, mentor engineering staff, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage RF engineering teams across multiple projects.
  • Develop and execute RF system architecture and design strategies.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and project teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct technical studies, simulations, and performance testing of RF systems.
  • Prepare cost estimates and support proposal development for new projects.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging RF technologies.

·Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred), with a focus on RF systems.
  • 10+ years of experience in RF engineering, including leadership roles.
  • Experience with RF simulation tools, test equipment, and design methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards (e.g., FCC, ITAR).
  • US Citizenship required; ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel domestically/internationally up to 5%.
Computer SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and RF design/development software (e.g., HFSS, ADS, CST, MATLAB).Other Requirements
  • Active or eligible for Government Security Clearance.
  • U.S. Person status required for access to ITAR-controlled technical data.
