
Regional Sales Manager, Commercial HVAC

- Effectively lead a group of Area Sales Managers, as needed, within an assigned region to achieve established sales growth and business unit objectives. Hire, develop and train a motivated commercial sales team.
- Effectively function as the lead point of contact with senior leaders of assigned distribution partners.
- In collaboration with Business Unit Leadership, develop and implement a regional sales growth/business plan based on METUS corporate initiatives, market analysis, and business unit objectives.
- Responsible for implementing market strategy and achieving sales goals for assigned region.
- Call on and develop relationships with local engineers, architects, contractors and other AEC Stakeholders to educate them on METUS Variable Refrigerant Flow systems, along with other METUS products and their applications.
- Participate in local professional networking groups, industry associations and functions.
- Prepare and deliver educational presentations to architects, engineers, contractors and distributor personnel.
- Oversee effective specification of METUS Products - know and combat competitive solutions.
- Position, influence, and track market opportunities in territory.
- Provide superior customer experience utilizing all internal & external resources.
- Willing to travel up to 40% for various Company meetings and training both domestically and possibly Internationally
- Other Duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years technical sales experience preferably in the HVAC industry.
- Minimum 5 years calling on the AEC community as sales engineer or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Commercial HVAC distribution required.
- Ability to read and comprehend architect and engineer plans.
- Familiar with HVAC application and design.
- Familiar with PowerPoint/Excel/Word/and other Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse group of people.
- Experience developing and implementing business growth plans
- Effective public speaking skills.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Must reside in the Business Unit Geography.
