- Draft, review, and revise a variety of agreements, including NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, and subcontractor agreements.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers and clients to align with CAIT’s purchasing and sales standards.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams (sales, operations, legal, finance, HR, project management) and external parties to ensure contracts meet business and legal requirements.
- Interpret and analyze complex language in Master Purchasing Agreements and Master Client Agreements, recommending and negotiating revisions to mitigate risk and protect CAIT’s interests.
- Coordinate with legal counsel on contract language, compliance, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain an organized electronic contract repository and ensure audit readiness.
- Build and update vendor terms and conditions on the internal website; create and manage contract and communication templates.
- Manage backend vendor rebates and incentives, including tracking and reporting.
- Oversee state contract compliance and renewals.
- Serve as the ConnectWise administrator, ensuring data integrity.
- Respond to contractual questions and handle escalations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Support the continuous improvement of contract management processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract administration, legal coordination, procurement, or a related area.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and summarize legal and technical contract terms.
- Skilled negotiator with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfortable leading discussions with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders, including legal teams.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools or willing to learn.
- Experience in a technology, IT services, or consulting environment is a plus.
