
Automation Engineer

- Developing working relations with the company’s management and employees as a basis for success down the road.
- Monitor and troubleshoot controls systems as directed by the Director of Automation.
- Perform programming and startup of current and future capital projects.
- Assist with scope, budget, schedule, and oversight of all DCS and PLC upgrade projects
- Be able to work in a complex organization i.e. with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- A strong personal presence with the ability to adapt, lead and motivate others.
- Adhering to all established procedures, policies, and safety rules as outlined by the Company.
- Performing all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- Good interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
- 3 years of experience with DCS programming.
- 20-30% travel required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
