Senior Oracle EBS Consultant (Fixed Assets & Project Accounting)Day 1 relocation-All 5 days onsite at Sidney, OHThis is a 3 months C2H roleH1b are fine but they should be ready to join as FTE at the conversion period, Need that confirmation in email.Job Description – Senior Oracle EBS Consultant (Fixed Assets & Project Accounting)Position OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Senior Consultant with deep expertise in Fixed Assets (FA) and Project Accounting (PA) modules, along with related Finance and Manufacturing modules. The consultant will assess current implementations across multiple operating units, evaluate consistency of setups, and define gold standard best practices that can be applied to future rollouts. This role requires strong domain knowledge, hands-on configuration expertise, and the ability to translate industry-leading practices (especially from manufacturing customers) into scalable Oracle EBS solutions.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of existing Oracle EBS Fixed Assets and Project Accounting module setups across multiple operating units.
  • Assess alignment and identify gaps or inconsistencies in configurations, processes, and controls.
  • Define, document, and socialize gold standard templates and processes to ensure consistency across future rollouts.
  • Bring industry best practices from manufacturing environments to optimize Fixed Assets and Project Accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Projects, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet compliance and business needs.
  • Provide recommendations for process harmonization across operating units.
  • Lead workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and training for stakeholders to align on gold standard practices.
  • Support rollout and deployment of standardized solutions in new operating units.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain) to ensure seamless integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Oracle EBS experience, with at least 5+ years specialized in Fixed Assets and Project Accounting modules.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM/PA).
  • Hands-on experience with module configurations, setups, and business process design.
  • Proven track record of working with manufacturing clients, applying best practices in asset accounting and project cost management.
  • Solid understanding of multi-operating unit setups, shared services, and global templates.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to standardize complex processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including leading workshops and executive discussions.
  • Ability to create comprehensive documentation (setup documents, process flows, training materials).
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) migration strategies for Fixed Assets and Project Accounting.
  • Experience with multi-national rollouts and working in a global delivery model.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements (IFRS/US GAAP) in asset accounting.
  • Familiarity with project manufacturing and capital project management.
