- Engineering Skills: Take charge of the electrical design and technical support for our entire range of GBP equipment, ensuring quality work and reliability.
- Innovative Design: Develop project requirements and the basis of design to meet our high standards and customer needs.
- Power System Mastery: Analyze and design electrical systems and components for bulk handling equipment, including power system calculations and documentation.
- Hands-On Testing: Coordinate the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring they meet all specifications and standards.
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with our CAD design team to create detailed electrical drawings.
- Cost Estimation Support: Assist our proposal and sales teams by providing accurate electrical cost estimates.
- Customer Engagement: Visit customer sites to provide on-the-ground support and ensure effective project outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Telecommunication, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Extensive experience in designing and engineering equipment for Mining, Mineral Processing, or similar bulk material handling sectors.
- Proficient in Switchboard and Substation Design, VVVF Drives, Cable Sizing, Equipment Electrical Layout, and Cable Schedule Preparation. Skilled in Power System Calculations and Analysis, including fault level, load flow, harmonics, earthing, arc flash, and equipment sizing.
- Ability to make independent decisions while working effectively as part of a team.
- Experience in Variable Speed Drive design and commissioning, with a background in bulk material handling processes.
- Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing and the ability to travel for site commissioning activities.
- High interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders, supporting both product development and customer projects.
