Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The primary focus for this role is to support trading of orders in equities and options from Financial Advisors and Institutional clients. You will support the traders as a “high touch” point of contact for equity and option executions for RBC’s Investment Advisory business and RBC’s Clearing and Custody business. The individual must be comfortable discussing stocks, options and trades with Institutional clients.What will you do?
  • Support traders with monitoring and executing equity and option order flow
  • Monitor emails for equity trade breaks and settlement issues
  • Monitor trading systems for rejected orders and orders that need special handling
  • Monitors stocks of interest for our broker clients.
  • Continually provides FA’s, Assistants and Institutional Clients with solutions for attaining desired results involving trade execution.
  • Support traders with clearing, settlement and billing needs
  • Write and distribute Morning Equity Trading News
  • Ability to learn options and related businesses

  • Knowledge of RBC Systems – Fidessa, Broadridge/ADP
  • Equity/ Options trading experience

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $45,000 - $75,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
