- This is a customer facing role where engaging with and building relationships with our customers is crucial to our success.
- Each week, this role will require 3 days of traveling 1 to 2 hours away to various customer sites to check and stock inventory.
- Work in a team-oriented environment by picking and preparing shipments for delivery - working overtime as needed to accomplish the daily/weekly shipping goals.
- Receiving, stocking and order fulfillment, including deliveries to customers
- Deliver product to internal and external customers driving a "straight" truck or van as needed.
- Operate hand truck or dolly to load and unload delivery truck or van
- Driving in a safe and lawful manner, maintaining an acceptable driving record
- Operate forklift or other equipment as required in the movement of material with the warehouse/distribution center.
- Follows and understandings all company and job specific procedures
- Follows all safety instructions to properly load/unload trucks/vans according to procedure
- Engaging in light production and assembly tasks
- Ensuring timely completion of all required paperwork
- Cleans and performs routine maintenance on truck
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Must have good verbal and written skills
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of warehousing experience
- Possess a valid Driver's License
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the workday
- Capability to handle boxes and tools
- Proficiency in reaching with hands and arms
- Occasional requirement to climb stairs or ladders
- Regular lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds
- Using a hand truck, the employee must regularly push and pull loads ranging from 180 to 250 pounds
- Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions while performing job duties
- Moderate to loud noise levels in the work environment, with occasional instances of loud noise
