- Directly responsible for scheduling oil movements on various Energy Transfer Crude Oil Pipelines.
- Accountable for issuing daily scheduling orders to the Control Center, Field Personnel, Terminal Operators and Customers in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Ensure that scheduling orders reflect close coordination of receipts, and inventories, which ensures ratability of deliveries to customers.
- In charge of receiving, analyzing, and determining acceptance of shipper nominations by working closely with the Monthly Pipeline Scheduler.
- Works closely with Shippers, Operation Coordinators, Pipeline Controllers, Engineers and Field Personnel to coordinate events in pipeline activity that affect the movement of product.
- Communicate system capabilities and deficiencies each month to various groups.
- Provide analytical support when necessary to Business Development, and other departments on projects for continuous improvement and business growth.
- Excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills are required in this position in order to effectively handle the coordination of shipper/customer requests; shipping and/or delivery windows; hydraulic & power considerations; line work and/or other maintenance issues.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required and 2-5 years experience in crude oil and/or product pipeline movements.
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written), and good interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills required
- Must be extremely flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes resulting from pipeline interruptions or refinery changes.
- Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills required.
- Proficiency using PC applications, specifically Excel
- Ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office and must be trainable to learn business applications associated with position (PFIS, Transport4 and Synthesis).
- Background in Crude Oil Products, pipeline operations, pipeline scheduling and accounting.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision; detail oriented.
- Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment meeting time sensitive deadlines.
- Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization.
- Must be able to work flexible hours in the event of a project start up and emergency upset
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
- The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
- The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
