- Supervise and monitor safety of children at all times.
- Organize age appropriate routines and activities.
- Continuously engage with children appropriately.
- Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interests.
- Help children keep good hygiene.
- Communicate respectfully and appropriately with parents daily.
- Practice safe behavior management.
- Provide a nurturing and safe environment.
- Encourage learning and socialization.
- Keep classroom clean and disinfected.
- Keep up to date with annual training.
- Work closely with all other teachers.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Child Development Associate Credential preferred
- 3 months experience in a licensed child care center or program serving infants to school age, or observational hours, or academic hours in child development.
- Self-starter who takes initiative, is open minded and a team player.
- Maintain a positive attitude with good energy including during stressful days.
- Adhere to all state regulations.
