- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
- Perform quality control procedures and document quality assurance findings.
- Ensure operation of equipment and coordinate equipment maintenance.
- Complete paperwork related to ultrasound procedures
- Enhance professional growth and development
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of American Medical Association approved Ultrasound Technology program preferred. Specialized training in ultrasound technology acceptable.
- Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public.
- Ability to maintain quality control standards.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergent situations.
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
