
Underground Mine Rehab Tech - Second Shift

- Perform bolting and meshing of the roof and ribs.
- Perform duties to apply shotcrete to the roof and ribs of the mine
- General mine labor in production areas, including installing conveyor and advancing ventilation duct, water line, electrical cable, etc.
- Ability to safely operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery in a rock quarry including a dozer, roof bolter, front end loader, Haul Truck etc.
- Being trained in various other entry level production positions and fill in as needed during vacations, absences and increased production demand times
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment
- Report equipment problems and identify them to management.
- Complete equipment pre-shift report - Conduct thorough Workplace Exam, to identify and correct hazards daily
- Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management
- Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe working procedures and environment
- Ability to maintain safe working conditions
- Must place a high priority on attendance
- Self-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision
- Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include plant clean-up, maintenance, operating equipment and other duties as assigned
- Ability to learn quickly
- Must be willing to work weekends and overtime
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Experience in tunneling or mine development considered a plus
