
Senior Team Lead Institutional Onboarding Operations

- Lead a small group within the Institutional Account team focused on delivering exceptional, proactive service to valued client relationships at our held-here custodians
- Provide guidance to CMC’s and Financial Advisors as early as the prospect phase to set proper expectations of how clients will be serviced
- Oversee and communicate all phases of the onboarding and transition process for Institutional Portfolio clients, both non-discretionary and OCIO, to interested parties by creating project plans/timelines, and schedule as well as lead recurring onboarding calls that define action items and accountability across teams
- Partner with other members of the onboarding team to continuously identify risks and opportunities as it pertains to the onboarding of institutional clients and work together and with management to address effectively
- Assist in custodian escalations and build strong relationships with custodian partners
- Manage and monitor data integrity and the internal set-up of new Institutional Portfolio clients and plans by defining a quality control process for the records of newly onboarded clients
- Aid as needed in all phases of the onboarding and transition process including but not limited to service contract execution, workflow requests with internal partners, review and completion of documentation, and creation of reports/presentations
- Completion of a four-year college degree
- Minimum 8 years of experience working in a Client Service role in the brokerage, investment advisory or financial services environment
- Working knowledge of institutional entities such as Non-profit organizations, Endowments and Foundations, and institutional accounts
- Proficiency in navigating CRM systems and MS Office Suite
- Superior communication and relationship building skills
- Proven track record of attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy in collection and auditing of data
- Industry relevant FINRA Series licenses such as 6/7 and 63/65/66.
- Comprehension of the qualitative and quantitative aspects of various types of investments including mutual funds, separate accounts, alternatives, and private equities.
- Excellent math skills and the ability to quickly grasp financial and investment concepts.
- Organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage time-sensitive tasks simultaneously.
