- Assist in designing water/wastewater systems, including plans, specs, and reports.
- Support project deliverables under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Collaborate with teams on treatment plants, pump stations, and distribution systems.
- Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and progress updates.
- Oversee construction administration (submittals, contracts, bidding).
- Supervise EITs, drafters, subcontractors, and inspectors.
- Ensure compliance with municipal standards and regulations.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Licensure: EIT required for junior roles, PE required for senior roles.
- Experience:
- EIT: 1+ years in municipal water/wastewater design (drainage experience a plus).
- PE: 5+ years in water/wastewater design, including project management/construction administration. Experience with drainage design, permitting, or Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs) in Texas (preferred). Project management or municipal client coordination experience (preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, WaterCAD, ArcGIS, or similar hydraulic modeling software.
- Soft Skills: Strong organization, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
