Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage construction, installation, repair, and maintenance of telecom plant facilities (fiber, copper, coax).
- Oversee OSP/ISP crews, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering designs, and company quality expectations.
- Conduct quality control inspections and verify adherence to Federal RUS and industry specifications.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and resource utilization for plant operations and projects.
- Review staking sheets, maps, surveys, and circuit designs to ensure accurate buildout.
- Investigate service disruptions, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and departments to deliver projects on time and meet customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate documentation for materials, equipment, and plant records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field, or a minimum of 4+ years’ direct experience installing, provisioning, and maintaining telecom/broadband services.
- Strong knowledge of OSP/ISP design, construction practices, and maintenance operations.
- Familiarity with fiber, copper, and coaxial plant distribution systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Effective communication skills with both technical teams and customers.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass background check and drug screening.
- Ability to relocate or be based in North Central Arkansas (required).
