We are seeking an experienced Telecom Plant Manager for our client in North Central Arkansas to oversee the planning, construction, and maintenance of outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) facilities. This role is critical in ensuring networks meet quality, safety, and performance standards while supporting both residential and business broadband services. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and proven project management skills in telecom infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage construction, installation, repair, and maintenance of telecom plant facilities (fiber, copper, coax).
  • Oversee OSP/ISP crews, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering designs, and company quality expectations.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and verify adherence to Federal RUS and industry specifications.
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and resource utilization for plant operations and projects.
  • Review staking sheets, maps, surveys, and circuit designs to ensure accurate buildout.
  • Investigate service disruptions, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and departments to deliver projects on time and meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for materials, equipment, and plant records.
Experience & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field, or a minimum of 4+ years’ direct experience installing, provisioning, and maintaining telecom/broadband services.
  • Strong knowledge of OSP/ISP design, construction practices, and maintenance operations.
  • Familiarity with fiber, copper, and coaxial plant distribution systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with both technical teams and customers.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to pass background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to relocate or be based in North Central Arkansas (required).
