- Provides the direction, leadership, and communication necessary to achieve sales results and operating plan goals for the store. Ensures the store’s Shift Leads provide the same to the store team members.
- Works with the Owner/Manager to achieve store quantitative objectives including sales, labor, COGS, and expense management.
- Communicates all shift issues, concerns, and needs to direct supervisor.
- Responsible, along with the Manager, for maintaining operational excellence in the store.
- Responds to directives in an accurate and timely manner and ensures the same compliance of the store team.
- Recognizes and communicates to direct supervisor the outstanding performance of store team members.
- Demonstrates patience and exceptional leadership behaviors.
- Works along-side the Manager to develops a high performing staff.
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed.
- Train and coach new employees and provide direction to employees during shifts.
- Willing to work weekends, holidays and fill in for last-minute absences of employees.
- Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management.
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed.
- Addresses customer and employee complaints.
- Fosters and maintains a positive work environment.
- Proven experience as an Assistant Manager, Shift Leader or relevant managerial role
- Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations
