- Lead global APS Pricing Excellence project to ensure right pricing strategies by market segment and businesses, link back to best customer value proposition and ensure right margin growth to meet APS Transformation goals
- Lead Pricing strategy project will include:
- Definition, development and implementation of pricing strategies by segment to drive profitability enhancement.
- Project will require key leadership role with the different Regional Commercial and Business leaders, coordinate project approach and lead efforts to match the Pricing Excellence.
- Pricing strategy process might also include the coordination with an external consultant group
- Lead global pricing strategy implementation with regional commercial teams
- Close partnership with LYB CCE in implementation of PriceFX tool and ensure tool meets all APS Commercial and Pricing needs and maximize regional and business outcomes of tool implementation
- Partner with APS Digital team to develop analytics to support Pricing strategy and visibility on market, customer and competitor dynamics. Partner with Pricing and Commercial teams to establish regular data visibility and insights to continue focus on pricing best practices and margin optimization
- Lead activities to monitor key Pricing, Cost, Margin and Market variables:
- Working closely with other teams to closely track movements in costs
- Monitoring and reporting on pricing performance and competitiveness
- Tracking market trends, customer value proposition opportunities and keeping up to date on prices set by competitors
- Assist in creating promotional campaigns, and conducting pricing optimization and cost-benefit analysis
- Collaborating with product, sales, and finance teams on pricing decisions. Support Pricing teams on analysis of specific price dynamics, price change requests from the sales team to ensure best outcomes on margin impact, potential incremental volume, customer value and competitor price levels
- Support regional pricing and commercial teams in development of pricing proposals for new products and services
- Lead global support of Pricing and Commercial teams to ensure best practices, address gaps and opportunities and ensure roadmap for margin optimization
- Bachelor's University Degree in one of the following areas - Business, MBA, Marketing, Business/Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Science, Business/Management, Management
- 10+ years Commercial experience in an international corporate setting (plastics, chemical, and/or refining is preferred)
- 5 years Pricing experience (exposure to pricing and analytical tools, pricing strategy definition)
- Strong prior experiences on Strategy and Project Management
- Strong expertise on Commercial and Pricing solutions
- Cross functional leadership and partnership experience in multinational companies
- The individual must have demonstrated track record of working effectively within a well-respected, consumer oriented industrial organization.
