- Global commercial excellence responsibilities to lead and support regional and business commercial excellence teams in driving the right approach to meet the APS Commercial Excellence end state and strategic approach to achieve Commercial Transformation goals
- Strong leadership, communication and partnership with Commercial and Business Leaders to ensure Commercial Excellence is meeting the Regional and business needs and Commercial Excellence priorities meet their priorities
- Lead point for partnership with LYB CCE in collaborating and driving joint APS Commercial Excellence. Critical item is to ensure LYB goals are met but tools and processes are designed to meet APS needs
- Play key role in leading Commercial Excellence projects with Commercial Excellence teams - e.g. Pricing Excellence, Growth Funnel, Sales Excellence, SF.com enhancement, Marketing Campaigns
- Ensure commercial global assessment of Commercial business processes to ensure Regional and Business projects have the right approach, support addressing potential gaps and opportunities and ensure best practices are shared and implemented globally
- Partner with VEP and APS Strategy team in coordination of Commercial Excellence approach to meet VEP and strategy goals. Lead the coordination of required actions and approach with regional Commercial Excellence teams
- Assess digital requirements to be developed or enhanced to support Commercial teams and lead partnership with APS digital team in developing right analytics and digital tools. Focus on market, customer and competitors to continue identifying opportunities and improvements areas that drive value and commercial effectiveness
- Lead approach with Regional Commercial Excellence team on how to maximize Commercial teams support from analytics insights and propose commercial actions to achieve potential outcomes
- Translate best practices into detailed process and tool requirements and deploy across businesses, market segments and areas/countries
- Partner with regional teams and global innovation function to continue enhancing processes to support Commercial teams
- Continue focus on development of right market, customer and competitor dynamics to ensure Commercial teams will have right visibility and Commercial Excellence approach meets the future growth opportunities
- Bachelor's University Degree in one of the following areas - Business, MBA, Marketing, Business/Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Science, Business/Management, Management
- 10+ years of work experience in an international corporate setting, with prior Commercial Excellence experience and background
- Should have spent time within an industrial industry such as plastics, chemical, and/or refining.
- Strong prior experiences on Strategy and Project Management
- Strong expertise on Commercial tools and marketing solutions
- Strong leadership and partnership skills
- Be a leader in operational excellence & design thinking for the Commercial Operations function
- Bring thought leadership and expertise on the latest industry thinking on Commercial Operations processes including Data Management, Systems, Digital, Promotional / Sample Management and Program
- Lead efficiency and effectiveness projects (in partnership with functions) to address prioritized process opportunities in Commercial Operations with heavy focus on how changes impact customers and customer-facing roles
- Play an active role in the integration strategy of global APS Commercial Excellence with right regional and segment approach
- Partner on developing operational leading indicator dashboard approach to provide early insights for key Commercial dynamics and process requirements
