Define and execute communications strategy and programs to drive awareness for AWS Solutions and foundational services
Interact with senior leadership to influence strategy and negotiate decisions for application and solution announcements and messaging
Work cross-functionally with Amazon and AWS teams to plan and execute communications campaigns
Serve as a global liaison for international communications teams, supporting plans, launches, and campaigns
Ensure accurate representation of AWS services in technology and business press
Manage sensitive reputational issues with stakeholders and media
Develop relationships with key influencers in technology trade and business press
Handle complex, fast-moving communications challenges with high judgment
Execute events and media engagementsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Bachelor's degreePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- - Deep understanding of cloud technology and enterprise applications
- - Familiarity with and user of AI/ML and generative AI applications
- - Strong media relationships and network of contacts
- - Experience with large press events and thought leadership campaigns

The base pay for this position ranges from $114,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
