- Directly leads and guides maintenance technicians, coordinator, and team lead positions within the maintenance department.
- Plans and prioritizes all aspects of service, preventive maintenance, and safety work orders with maintenance technicians.
- Supports the prioritization of maintenance projects.
- Supports facility and equipment refurbishment activities within the organization’s maintenance, engineering and equipment build groups.
- Ensures that the maintenance software is timely and accurate with incoming equipment, PM procedures and asset conformance.
- Direct and monitor activities relating to functions and responsibilities of the facility.
- Monitor and manage CMMS system by monitoring service work orders and preventive maintenance reports.
- Determine the types of materials, supplies, or tools to be used by other employees and controlling the flow and distribution of materials and supplies.
- Maintaining Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Partner with HR on effective recruiting and interviewing potential candidates.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance and leadership in the manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field of study preferred.
- Strong mathematical background required to compile statistical data.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & CMMS applications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
