Perform tasks across various work centers, including bottom welding (with perforated LVB holes), projection welding (with LVB holes), seam welding (with flanging), layout (with rod stacking), horn presses, hanging, cover punching, paint booth operations, and tank unhang procedures. Receive training in safe chemical handling, proper disposal of waste materials, and adherence to safety, quality, and operating instructions. Position, hang, and remove transformer tanks and associated parts from a powered overhead conveyor line. Manually handle medium-heavy weight materials, and operate hoists and other material handling equipment (including powered industrial trucks). Monitor and maintain the automatic paint booth, manually apply paint to hard-to-reach parts, add paint as needed, conduct titration tests for chemical balance, and verify the paint cure and dry-off oven temperatures. Conduct routine machine maintenance, follow specified lists (oven pick list, PQP, VOP, IDP, verbal instructions), operate welding equipment (MIG wire feed), and use both manual and powered hand tools, as well as simple measuring devices. Safely operates overhead cranes and hoisting equipment to move materials, components, and finished products within the manufacturing facility. Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization. Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.
