- Possess the expertise to instruct and assess system, subsystem, and equipment operation; conduct diagnostics and interpret results; remove, install, and replace major components and LRUs; troubleshoot and repair malfunctions; and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Review and suggest updates to course materials, lesson plans, student guides, and audiovisual aids.
- Deliver instruction on ACV FoV incident events and related training systems.
- Perform PMCS, inspections, repairs, and procedures as outlined in field-level maintenance manuals for maintenance and operator programs.
- Maintain assigned instruction periods and handle administrative duties for repairer/technician curricula.
- Must be physically and mentally capable of successfully completing the Marine Corps Water Survival Training Program (MCO 1500.52D), the Marine Corps Submerged Egress Training (SVET), and license and certification requirements of the specific Amphibious Combat Vehicle variant (i.e. Operator license, Maintainer certification, or Communicator certification of Communications suite on the ACV FoVs).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer-facing and internal oral and written communications skills
- Excellent MS Office skills to include, but not limited to MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Experience working in a Marine Corps Systems Command Program Office or similar organization
- Positive attitude and understanding of the Marine Corps mission.
- Ability to function as part of an agile team when given broad direction.
- Minimum, four years' experience training in a military period of instruction/program.
- Experienced in the operation, repair, installation, maintenance, assembly, and disassembly of the ACV system(s) and subsystem(s).
- Must be proficient with hand, diagnostic, power tools, and multi-meters.
