- Create transparency on warehouse footprint and material flow; thereby analyze, identify and derive optimization initiatives in line with SE Global logistics & warehouse strategy. This contributes to a reduction in logistics spent worldwide in collaboration with businesses.
- Implement SE Global logistics & warehouse strategy in alignment with internal and external collaborators.
- Leading frequent coordination with Business, involving senior management from fulfillment across borders and internal BA log partner teams to discuss performance trends and central initiatives.
- Establish an interface and build strong and sustainable connections between the operating units in the Business Areas for North and South America Establish and maintain a good business relation with the operating units in the Business Areas to understand their business needs (requirements) and support them in cooperation with procurement & strategy.
- Requirements gathering with the collaboration of operating units; definition of clear and detailed specification documentation to allow proper RFI / RFP documents. Actively contribute to establish governance documentation and process Descriptions.
- Establish a center of competence for Warehouse topics in North America + LATAM. Identify supply chain risks, opportunities, and market forces to avoid potential damage / exploit potential opportunities through tailored risk and change management.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or equivalent experience is preferred. 8+ years of expertise in industry within logistics, supply chain or strategic procurement for services (transport, warehouse).
- Expertise in contract negotiation as well as deep understanding of service contracts. Ability to cooperate, especially to work cross-functional and cross-disciplinary in a global work environment. Legal background and experience are desirable.
- Ability to gather, reduce and organize data from multiple sources in multiple formats, and organize effectively from various data sources and databases systems.
- Ability to communicate across all levels of organization and cultural Environments!
- Beneficial to have experience in international customs clearance requirements and processes as well as tax requirements, different modes of transportation, warehouse operations. Travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
- Fluent in English written and spoken (native speaker) and good Spanish skills preferred.
