💼 Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in project accounting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has experience managing multiple projects across industries such as construction, Department of Defense, or commercial architecture/engineering.This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based out of Charlotte, NC.Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple project accounts, including setup, billing, and revenue forecasting
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking
- Maintain general ledger and support month-end close processes
- Handle ad hoc accounting tasks such as property tax, depreciation expense schedules, and fixed asset tracking
- Support compliance and reporting requirements for government and commercial contracts
- Experience with D365 BC is a huge plus
- Strong accounting experience, coupled with multiple project accounting duties
- Experience in construction, DoD, or commercial architecture, engineering environments
- Strong understanding of general ledger, project setup, billing, and forecasting
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with ERP systems (not implementation-focused)
