Experience with Data Room and IDF Management:o Experience in managing and maintaining Data Rooms and Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDF), including patching, cabling, and hardware installation.o Knowledge of best practices for organizing and maintaining network infrastructure within Data Rooms and IDFs.2. Network Configuration and Troubleshooting:o Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls within Data Rooms and IDFs.o Understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, VLANs, and network security principles.3. Hardware and Cabling Expertise:o Experience in installing, terminating, and testing various types of network cabling (e.g., Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics).o Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to servers, network equipment, and other infrastructure components.4. ServiceNow Proficiency:o Experience using ServiceNow for IT service management, including incident management, request management, and change management.o Ability to document and track support activities and network changes using ServiceNow.5. Customer Service and Communication Skills:o Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with end-users and other IT staff to understand and resolve technical issues.o Strong verbal and written communication skills to provide clear instructions and document support activities related to Data Rooms and IDFs.Hosting and site supportTasks and QualificationsEscort vendors to server room and other IT areasGovern physical access of the data room, supervise/manage all work in the data room.Track and receive shipments of server and network equipment. Verify packing slips match contents of packing slipsMaintain data room documentation and rack elevations.Ensure vendors are completing tasks according to Client standards. Standards will be providedRacking and labeling of any server or network hardware in accordance with set standards.Perform server and network cabling tasks following provided cabling matrix following standardsPerform basic smart hands activities for hosting and network teamsAssist with on site support of network and hosting related incidents and troubleshootingAttend project meetings as requiredAssist with UAT tasks as neededHave basic networking knowledge including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLANs, TrunksPrevious experience using Service Now or similar ticketing system would be a plusLaptop Deployment Tasks1 temporary resource needed to help assist with Client device (laptop) issuance to RayzeBio (RBO) employees.Up to approximately 120 RBO employees to issue laptopsPreparing laptops following documented process including assigning and tracking user prior to issuance. Some users will have specialty models as neededLaptop setup process will assign laptops to a user once imaged and pre-install all software and updatesUpgrade RAM as neededIssue laptops over 2 weeks and tracking the delivery and reporting daily the number issued.Follow up with stragglers and assist with any special needs or requirementsProvide Hypercare support for device issuance and monitor hypercare chat to triage support requestsSupport users with device configuration, device setup, VPN use instructionsTrack returned laptops and label with name and date returnedHCL to request Client ID for the length of the contract and ensure any required training neededSupport for AV and Printer deployments with vendor escort and UAT testingQualification-Minimum High school diplomaAdditional Job Requirements:None
