- Plan and execute assay and method development processes with moderate complexity.
- Write and validate analytical methods and support analytical testing as needed.
- Troubleshoot assays and apply root cause analysis for process optimization.
- Lead technical projects and mentor junior staff to ensure project deliverables.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure methods are scalable and sustainable.
- Transfer developed methods to validation and operational teams.
- Maintain laboratory notebooks and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support lab equipment maintenance and evaluate new instrumentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in assay or method development.
- Proficiency in scientific techniques and instrumentation relevant to assay development.
- Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with knowledge of root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and good documentation practices.
- Effective communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
