- Review job requests and determine cause of problems with parts and machines and needed repairs prior to assigning.
- Work with general contractors for building preparation, coordination and installation of new equipment.
- Determine whether machine should be shut down due to serious technical problems and situations that may require working with engineering department to resolve.
- Authorize machine shut down as necessary.
- Involved directly with the interviewing of all future department personnel.
- Carry out routine department operations by meeting regularly with the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Must have leadership skills and the ability to provide work direction, feedback, motivation to department.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance/facilities experience is required.
- Work experience as a maintenance/journeyworker electrician preferred.
- Must complete CPR/First Aid training and respirator training.
