Description :Quanex is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team located in Owatonna, Minnesota. Monday-Friday 3pm-11pmIn this role you are responsible for repairing machinery as required. You will also actively participate in maintenance, failure avoidance, failure elimination, and continuous improvement maintenance functions.We Offer You!

What Success Looks Like:
  • Complete preventative maintenance as required both safely and procedurally.
  • Knowledge of electrical, PLCs, and schematics.
  • Operate basic and advanced shop tools as required to maintain or repair equipment.
  • Have a clear understanding of Lockout Tagout (LOTO).
  • Maintain written documentation of work performed.
What You Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to train others as needed.
  • Ability to read drawings, prints, sketches, electrical indicators and laboratory equipment indicators.
  • Ability to stand and walk 12-hours+ per day on concreate, solid metal, or corrugated metal surfaces.
