Accounting Analyst

- Construction accounting.
- Majority of role involves purchase orders, invoices, and close outs.
- Project close out - once the project is finished and the building is ready to be put into service, process the close out by classifying and making sure all costs and invoices are paid - taking those and making sure the project IDs match and are right and if not, reclassify the assets.
- Team has a large volume at the moment and need to bring individuals on to assist with the project close outs.
- This role will have heavy trainings to start as individuals get up to speed.
- Lots of work in Excel - when they close out, team pulls the transactions journal which is exported in Excel and team manipulates the documents so having strong excel skills is very critical.
- Accounting background - General understanding of accounting principles
- Excel - intermediate level - such as VLOOKUPS and baseline functions
- Advanced Excel - macro level and high level formulas
- Experience with Power BI and power platforms
- Quick learner
- Strong communicator
- Move quickly and multitask and very agile
- Majority of day is in flight - be able to start something and then drop it and then pick it back up or take on new/different responsibilities throughout the day adhoc.
- Experience in lieu of education
- No certs
