- Client Engagement and Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our existing clients whilst exploring growth opportunities with these clients, ensuring seamless delivery and satisfaction throughout critical implementations.
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with our global Senior Leadership team to execute annual strategies, aligning with the organisation to achieve set targets and SLAs.
- Sales & Business Development: Drive revenue growth by developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, with a keen focus on public sector interpreting services.
- Tender Writing & Proposal Development: Partner with the Tender Writing teams to create compelling proposals tailored to public sector opportunities and localisation needs.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, coach, and mentor the US team, ensuring alignment with company strategies and optimising resources to meet client needs.
- Market Insights & Strategy Refinement: Monitor competitor activities and market trends to refine sales strategies and inform the company's US market focus.
- Operational Oversight: Manage operational processes, ensuring timely service delivery and addressing any PR, legal, or compliance issues promptly.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking and achievement of sales targets.
- Client Procurement & Relationship Management: Understand client procurement processes, identify decision-makers, and provide tailored localisation solutions.
- Experience: Proven success in securing public sector contracts in the US, particularly within the Language Services industry.
- Account Management: Demonstrated success in managing strategic public sector accounts, with a focus on high-value, long-term relationships and revenue growth.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing client-facing teams and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive desired outcomes.
- Initiative & Business Development: A self-starter with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities. Familiarity with sales methodologies and tools to drive success.
- Problem-Solving: Entrepreneurial mindset with strong creative problem-solving abilities, able to navigate challenges and find innovative solutions.
- Education: Degree-level qualifications (or equivalent) in a relevant field is advantageous.
- Industry Expertise: Previous experience in the localisation or language services industry, particularly with a focus on tech, operations, or public sector services.
