Look no further than PPG Aerospace, Join our team as an Aerospace Products - Distribution Supervisor!As an Aerospace Products - Distribution Supervisor you will be responsible for managing the assembly, distribution, receiving and storage of supplied and manufactured products from the Mojave site. This includes managing the warehouse, product assembly raw material receipt and product shipping. Assure safe work practices are established and followed in regard to both people and equipment, through effective training and written procedures.This is an on-site role at our Mojave, CA facility and will report directly to the Senior Distribution ManagerResponsibilities:
  • Manage assembly, distribution, receiving, and storage of supplied and manufactured products at the Mojave site, including warehouse operations, product assembly, raw material receipt, and product shipping.
  • Ensure safe work practices for personnel and equipment through effective training and written procedures.
  • Achieve or exceed packing, receiving, and shipping performance targets.
  • Maintain or reduce financial budget targets.
  • Champion 5S standards to promote continuous waste elimination efforts within the team.
  • Enhance workforce skills via ongoing cross-functional training and team project participation.
  • Oversee continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Three (3) or more years of directly applicable experience in warehouse inventory control, shipping, and/or distribution required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field preferred.
  • Previous customer relation experience required.
  • Must have knowledge of California DOT regulations.
  • Experience in a high volume demanding production environment preferred.

#LI-OnsiteThe base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually.
