- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. Perform Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Support day-to-day operations and monitoring, and resolve issues related to client/server/storage/network devices and mobile systems.
- Escalate and communicate status updates to agency management and internal customers.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Configure and manage Linux operating systems; install and maintain OS software; implement system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and maintain system and network integrity. Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal stakeholders on escalated issues.
- Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
- Analyze and resolve complex problems related to server hardware, software, and application integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; An additional 5 years of related experience might be substituted for a degree
- 14+ years of Systems Administration experience.
- Must be proficient with troubleshooting in a Linux environment.
- Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (e.g., calculator, copy machine, printer).
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may include delivering presentations.
