
Sr Process Analyst (Clinical Oncology)

- Coaches clinical end-users on the system functionality and how to integrate the EMR to facilitate their daily workflow.
- Maintains a deep understanding of EMR and related clinical systems capabilities, and a detailed understanding of the EMR functionality, and is able to independently apply that knowledge to properly respond to workflow situations.
- Exercises independent judgment when proactively or reactively addressing physician and clinical end-user issues.
- Function as an active participant on the EMR implementation team, attend training to learn functionality of core Allscripts modules.
- Coordinates data collection from clinical subject matter experts, to facilitate an enterprise design which will represent an improved clinical workflow and eliminates current state paper-based processes, as applicable.
- Designs clinical workflows, in conjunction with the clinicians; workflows will focus on improved efficiencies, as well as incorporating quality initiatives and benefits as defined in the EMR benefits.
- Assists in system configuration activities, as required.
- Participate in unit and integrated testing of the software to ensure that the design objectives are being met.
- Development of the end user training materials and participates in end-user activation support.
- Develops policies and procedures related to the use of the EMR software, in conjunction with clinical members.
- Takes an active role in the development/on-boarding of process analyst staff.
- Performs routine on-call rotation which includes 24x7 phone coverage.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- 3+ years of clinical process workflow experience (Required) or
- clinical application system experience or some combination required. (Required) and
- Experience with clinical system implementation preferred. (Preferred)
- Clinical Oncology experience (Strongly Preferred)
- Lab or Genomics experience (Preferred)
- Notable client service, communication, presenter and relationship building skills. (Required proficiency)
- Ability to function independently and as an active player in a fast-paced environment. (Required proficiency)
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. (Required proficiency)
- Ability to lead in projects or process development. (Required proficiency)
- Strong sills in MS Office suite with emphasis on Power Point, Excel and Microsoft Project. (Required proficiency)
- Knowledge of Sunrise Clinical Manager or other EMR Physician Portal, or PHR knowledge. (Preferred proficiency)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required) or
- RT (Required) or
- Registered Dietitian (RD) (Required) or
- Physical Therapist (PT) (Required) or
- PharmD or other health care professional licensure (Required)
