- Own full-cycle recruiting for software development roles including backend, frontend, full-stack, DevOps, data engineering, and more - from initial outreach and interview prep to offer extension and onboarding coordination.
- Monitor the external talent landscape to identify emerging trends in technology and apply those insights to refine sourcing tactics and elevate recruiting impact.
- Partner closely with engineering, product, and technical leadership to understand hiring needs, define job requirements, and build strategic recruiting plans.
- Draft and promote compelling job postings that captivate the right audience.
- Source, engage, and track top candidates using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and our applicant tracking system; maintain accurate records and talent pipelines across technical and non-technical roles.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for technical and non-technical roles including marketing, production, operations and more.
- Drive inclusive hiring practices and help champion diversity initiatives throughout the recruiting process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to improve interview processes and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
- Track and report recruiting metrics, insights, and market data to help drive decision-making.
- Stay current on employment laws and ensure all recruiting practices adhere to internal policies and relevant regulations.
- 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, with a strong emphasis on hiring technical talent (software engineers, developers, etc.)
- Expert-level proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter (not Recruiter Lite), with a proven track record of sourcing and engaging high-quality candidates through the platform
- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal - with a strong sense of professionalism and empathy
- Skilled in building and executing effective recruiting strategies across multiple disciplines
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with a proven ability to manage multiple roles across departments and prioritize competing demands efficiently
- Confident in conducting structured interviews and using behavioral-based questioning techniques
- Knowledgeable about relevant labor laws and recruitment regulations, particularly within California
- High level of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and applicant tracking systems
- Solid experience recruiting in the media, entertainment, or technology industries
- Passion for entertainment, tech, and discovering great talent
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred
- Self-driven and proactive, with the confidence to take initiative and lead as needed
