- Maintain chilled water and centralized air handling units through regularly scheduled preventative maintenance activities
- Perform coil cleanings, filter changes, test and balance activities, sensor calibrations, and UV bulb replacements
- Belt alignments and replacement, drain pan treatments, damper calibration and repairs, cleaning interior of AHU
- Perform electrical safety inspections
- Leads apprentice level HVAC technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of commercial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems that incorporate pneumatic, digital, and central energy management system controls
- Ability to create cost and downtime estimates for major repairs and/or equipment replacement
- Perform work to the highest industry and manufacturer recommended standards
- Follow all applicable federal, state, and local safety guidelines including, but not limited to, lock-out/tag-out, OSHA, confined space, PPE, etc.
- Completes and documents all work and labor time using HCA Healthcare Engineering’s CMMS
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the hospital’s Director of Facility Management about equipment conditions
- High School Diploma, or equivalent Required
- 3 years of experience in a commercial, industrial, or healthcare environment Required
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification Required (90 grace period to complete after date of hire)
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing Required
